Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a skilled Network Operations professional in Illinois to support global IP desks, resolve complex routing and protocol issues, and coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC for escalations. The role emphasizes customer service and incident response in a Financial Markets context.

You will monitor networks, perform triage, and work with a global team providing 24x7 IP Desk coverage, including after-hours escalation and change management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing protocols.
• Hands-on Cisco/Arista/Juniper router/switch configuration.
• ITIL certification and service management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and related tools.
• Strong multitasking, communication and time management skills.
• Experience supporting external customers in NOC environments.
• Financial Markets knowledge and experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks and incident tickets.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of routers/switches.
• Interface with Cisco/Juniper TAC and vendors for escalation.
• Lead second-level network troubleshooting and change management.
• Provide after-hours on-call escalation on a rotation.
• Coordinate readiness checks and handover to NOC for project acceptance.
• Manage incidents to restore services with minimal impact.
