Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join the Global IP Desk in Kansas. You will handle large TCP/IP networks, manage incidents, and coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC while ensuring availability and performance for financial markets infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on routing and switching experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper gear, ITIL familiarity, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS routing knowledge including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL certification is preferred or required.
• Experience with ensuring quality customer service to clients.
• Experience in financial markets support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Interact with Cisco/Juniper TAC and vendors as needed.
• Perform second-level network and protocol troubleshooting.
• Coordinate maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide after-hours on-call escalation support on a rotating basis.
• Ensure incident management and smooth handover into NOC.
