Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a seasoned Network Operations/Support Engineer for its Financial Markets Global IP Desk in Massachusetts. The role focuses on stabilizing and supporting large-scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks, with escalation to Cisco and Juniper TAC as needed.

You will manage incident tickets, coordinate changes, and provide after-hours on-call support in a global team. Strong routing knowledge and customer-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires strong TCP/IP routing knowledge and hands-on Cisco/Arista/Juniper configuration.
• ITIL certification or demonstrated process discipline.
• Experience supporting NOC environments and external customers.
• Financial Markets knowledge and exchange market data understanding preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a 24x7 global team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC for escalation.
• Perform second-line troubleshooting and runbooks-based triage.
• On-call escalation on a rotating schedule; participate in 24x7 IP Desk coverage.
