Job summary

Westmont Living in Nipomo, California, is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents in daily living activities and maintain a safe, homelike environment. The role involves assisting with meals, personal care, housekeeping, and mobility while ensuring resident dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Criminal record clearance required prior to starting.
• Ability to pass health screenings (Physical, TB, drug test).
• First aid certification obtained or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Compassionate and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, beds, meals, laundry, showers, toileting, dressing.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Observe residents for safety and report changes to supervisor.
• Criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Pass health screens such as Physical, TB, Drug test.
• Own first aid training or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals, assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent, information to supervisor
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
