Job summary

Oceanview Senior Living in Newport, Oregon is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents with daily living activities and to maintain a safe, welcoming home-like atmosphere.

You will assist with meals, personal hygiene, mobility, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation assistance as outlined in each resident's service plan, while monitoring changes in condition and reporting to supervisors. Training provided; benefits available after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with ADL tasks, housekeeping, meals.
• Ability to observe safety and report changes to supervisor.
• Must pass health screenings and background checks.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
