Job summary

US Foods in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Night Warehouse Manager to lead safety, service and cost through engagement with warehouse associates and efficient operations. You will manage inbound receiving, storage, picking and loading, coach staff, and ensure accuracy, FIFO, and compliance with MSS and FSQA.

The schedule runs from about 3 PM to 1:30–2:30 AM, with roughly 10% travel for mandatory meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• PCQI certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture and ensure injury-free work environment.
• Coach warehouse associates and manage performance.
• Direct and supervise on-floor operations and workflow.
• Recruit and develop high-performing teams with Sr. Warehouse Managers.
• Ensure accurate orders, staging, and loading onto trucks.
• Monitor productivity and safety metrics, coach as needed.
• Plan dock locations for inbound carriers and manage inventory in FIFO.
• Maintain facility and equipment safety; ensure MSS and FSQA compliance.
• Schedule shifts using planning tools (e.g., Excel).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
