Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safety-first, cost-conscious warehouse operation. You will manage personnel, drive efficient receiving, storage and outbound loading, and uphold food safety standards.

You will coach and develop associates, oversee performance, and partner with senior leaders to ensure on-time, accurate orders while controlling expenses. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to maintain an injury-free warehouse.
• Develop and coach associates; address performance gaps with Sr. Warehouse Managers.
• Direct and supervise workflow to ensure efficient operations and accurate orders.
• Schedule shifts and ensure proper receiving, storage and loading of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor safety, productivity and cost metrics.
• Inspect facility for safety hazards and report to safety manager as appropriate.
