Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care within a small-format hospital setting. You will provide developmentally appropriate nursing care, follow physician orders, and ensure patient safety and privacy across shifts.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, RN license, 2+ years Telemetry/ICU experience, and current BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• PA clearances completed or obtainable prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide specialized nursing care for patients.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policy and regulations.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers per unit procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures and assist others.
