Job summary

Emerus is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shift in a small-format hospital. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care, with emphasis on safety and comfort.

The nurse will follow physician orders, maintain privacy, and adhere to infection control standards while supporting a fast-paced telemetry/ICU environment. Experience and board certifications are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC substitution possible).
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances for PA RN's completed within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care.
• Follow physician's orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist others.
• Handle care in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
