Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7pm-7am) in a 16-bed small-format hospital. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care, prioritizing safety and comfort for patients and families.

Required are an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, active Texas RN license, 2+ years Telemetry/ICU experience, BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred. English fluency and state clearances are mandatory for start.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred; ENPC may substitute for PALS.
• Must be fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in Telemetry/ICU.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Collect lab samples and perform required tests per policy.
• Complete admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures in the unit.
• Adhere to hospital policies and nursing practice standards.
