Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital unit (Tele/ICU) as a PRN/Casual Day Shift role. The ideal candidate will manage higher-acuity patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in stabilizing critically ill patients as needed.

Requirements include PA RN licensure, 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, BLS/ACLS with PALS preferred, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in PA without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-specific nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques during care.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and CLIA/COLA.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers, and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Ensure care aligns with state nursing standards and facility policies.
