Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for PCU/Step-Down/Tele ICU care. The role covers night shifts (7a-7p) in a 20-bed small-format hospital. Duties include planning, directing and evaluating care, while ensuring privacy and infection control.

Requirements include an RN license, 2+ years Telemetry/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and English proficiency. Pennsylvania clearances may be required before start. Competitive per-post benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license without sanctions in the state.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.
• PA clearances or eligible to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care delivery.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per policy.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist in procedures in the unit.
• Adhere to facility policies and state nursing standards.
