Job summary

Cardinal Health in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations to support outbound management and guide warehouse staff in line with operational priorities.

You will coordinate receipt of shipments, scheduling of inbound trucks, and generate reports on workforce productivity and quality. Flexibility for overtime and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow through skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to operational needs
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams preferred
• Previous experience with material handling equipment (RF scanners, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred
• Proficiency in English is required, Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations.
• Directs workflows on the floor of the warehouse, including packing, unloading, shipping and management of delivery schedule.
• Analyzes internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to help determine performance trends.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities.
• Assists in inbound and outbound workload forecasting to determine labor needs.
• Assists in inventory management, stocking and shipping as necessary.
