Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations to support the Warehouse Supervisor in inbound or outbound tasks, directing staff and coordinating daily workflow. You will assist in receiving shipments, scheduling trucks, and generating productivity reports, while ensuring customer satisfaction by communicating disruptions and delivery updates.

In this role you will mentor team members, uphold safety and quality standards, participate in safety meetings, and help manage production

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment (PIT preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience leading a team and providing feedback preferred.
• Experience with WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate
• Work closely with leadership team to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met
• Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all QRA and safety requirements and regulations
• With supervisors, plan and coordinate daily workflow and assignments in alignment with warehouse priorities
• Leading team meetings, including safety and quality discussions
• Solving minor issues and general employee inquiries
• Working in production as needed
