Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr. Manager, Warehouse to drive safety, service, and cost targets across the facility. You will develop Warehouse Managers, coach teams, and ensure timely receiving, storage, and loading operations while maintaining strict safety standards.

You will lead union-related activities, collaborate with HR and VP Operations, and oversee continuous improvement in workflow, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
• Experience leading unionized warehouse associates and managers in inbound activities.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop Warehouse Managers through coaching and training.
• Develop and engage warehouse associates and address performance gaps.
• Direct staffing and interviewing of warehouse personnel; drive productivity and safety targets.
• Identify process improvements and cost-reduction strategies; maintain procedures.
• Monitor operating data and optimize load plans and inventory accuracy; ensure OSHA compliance.
