Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse - SSA to lead a safety‑driven, cost‑effective warehouse operation. You will oversee hourly outbound staff, ensure accurate receiving, storage, and loading, and drive process improvements with a focus on safety, service, and cost control.

The role requires at least three years in warehouse distribution with supervisory experience; strong leadership and OSHA/HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of warehouse distribution experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience supervising a workforce.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture and training.
• Coach and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching and policy training.
• Direct and supervise on-floor productivity and workflow to meet targets.
• Interview and hire warehouse personnel with Sr. Warehouse Managers and set improvement plans.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping.
• Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action to correct behaviors.
• Schedule shifts using planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Maintain safety and sanitation practices per MSS/FSQA requirements.
