Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in a Houston distribution center to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, loading, and shipping. The role focuses on maintaining safety, efficiency, and top-tier service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a DC, with strong leadership, communication, and inventory control skills. A forklift cert is required within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a re-distribution/distribution center.
• Powered industrial truck certification required within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure procedures, quality, and safety compliance.
• Manage staffing, performance, development, mentoring and conflict resolution.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate policy changes and foster engagement.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, safety and reduce costs.
