Job summary

Sysco Houston is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, loading, and shipping, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time service.

This role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, familiarity with WMS and RF devices, and strong leadership and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Experience with WMS and RF devices.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of warehouse workers to ensure compliance with SOPs, quality and safety.
• Lead staffing, communication and training to maintain performance.
• Evaluate employee performance and address issues; mentor and develop teams.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, safety and quality while reducing costs.
• Maintain reports and logs such as productivity and safety toolbox talks.
