Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for the Mother Baby Unit. You will support departmental operations, process physician orders, and handle general duties, ensuring accurate data and timely communications.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of healthcare experience, and proficiency with PCs, Internet, and email. Nights, weekends on rotation, and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hospital/doctor's office experience.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient with PCs, Internet and email.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Data entry of clinical systems training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed.
• Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.
