Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center is hiring an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for the Mother Baby Unit. You will handle communications, data entry, and clerical tasks while supporting safe, orderly operations on a 36-hour weekly, three 12-hour night shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in healthcare settings, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of hospital or doctor’s office experience.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient with PC, Internet and email.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Data entry in clinical systems training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental operations with effective communications and a safe work environment.
• Process physician orders and perform general duties as directed.
