WSP USA is seeking a Traffic Management Center Technician I to join our Memphis, TN office, supporting night and weekend shifts. You will monitor ITS devices, respond to incidents, and coordinate with TDOT and operations partners.

This role emphasizes data entry, incident response, and adherence to SOPs while upholding WSP safety policies. A high school diploma and 0–2 years TMC experience are required, with proficiency in MS Office and digital roadway maps.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 0–2 years of experience with a TMC facility or traffic management.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work with TDOT staff.
• Pass Criminal History Background Check.
• Ability to interpret digital roadway maps.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ITS devices and traffic control equipment and act per SOPs.
• Traffic Incident Management.
• Coordinate responses for roadway concerns.
• Enter data for incidents, events, and call logs.
• Assist in data collection for system performance.
• Identify and document device failures with TDOT and issue repair work orders.
• Receive notices of roadwork and incidents and coordinate TDOT responses.
• Answer inquiries about TMC/ITS operations.
• Provide data for evaluations and reports.
• Uphold safety and company policies.
• Maintain professional conduct.
