Job summary

HomeFirst is seeking a Part-Time Shift Supervisor for the Emergency Interim Housing program in San Jose, CA. The role oversees day-to-day operations, supervises Resident Advocates, and ensures safety and compliance while delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• AA degree or two years of higher education or related field experience.
• Experience delivering client services in social services settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly with participants, staff, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Direct client service and supervision of participants.
• Ensure program guidelines and safety compliance are met.
• Assist with staff recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure staffing requirements per shift are met.
• Document incidents and HMIS records promptly.
• Coordinate with Program Manager on service delivery.
