Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for heavy night work in the Winston-Salem area. The role leads night crews on highway and underground utility projects, coordinating schedules, resources and safety on DOT-related work.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in heavy civil roadway/utility roles, with proven night shift experience and ability to read plans, manage quantities, and ensure OSHA compliance. Relocation to the Winston-Salem/Triad area is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy Civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at superintendent or senior foreman level
• Proven night work experience on DOT roadway or utility projects
• Ability to read plans and specs and keep accurate quantities
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus
• NCDOT project experience is a plus
• Based in the Triad or willing to relocate to the Winston-Salem area
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Run night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries
• Plan the work and shift the project schedule
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures within night work windows
• Work directly with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers
• Track installed quantities and daily production
• Complete daily reports and field documentation
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and day side of the job
