Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for night work with a heavy civil focus in Winston-Salem, NC. You will lead night crews on highway, roadway and underground utility projects, coordinating with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil, DOT night work experience, and the ability to read plans and manage traffic control. Relocation to the Triad area is welcome for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil roadway/underground utility at superintendent or senior foreman.
• Night work experience on DOT roadway or utility projects.
• Able to read plans and specs; track quantities.
• Strong traffic control knowledge.
• Based in the Triad or willing to relocate to Winston-Salem area.

Responsibilities

• Run night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and foremen.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries; plan the work and shift schedule.
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up traffic control and lane closures within approved night work windows.
• Coordinate with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track installed quantities and daily production; complete daily reports.
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and day-side team.
