Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for night shifts in the Winston-Salem area. You will lead roadway and underground utility crews on NCDOT and related projects, coordinating schedules, safety briefings, and QA/QC on site.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy civil experience, DOT night work, and the ability to read plans and manage field quantities. Relocation to the Triad area is welcome for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at superintendent or senior foreman level.
• Proven night work experience on DOT roadway or utility projects.
• Ability to read plans and specs and keep accurate quantities.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control and work zone safety.

Responsibilities

• Run night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and foremen.
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries and maintain schedule.
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up traffic control and lane closures within approved night work windows.
• Interface with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track quantities and daily production; complete daily reports and field docs.
• Coordinate handoffs with project manager and day shift.
