Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/Peds). The role requires an active New Jersey RN license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families for next steps in care.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to team communication.
• Engage in continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
