RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The role supports patients across multiple units, providing nursing care, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Night shift, 36 hours per week, with some weekend/holiday rotation. Requires ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS & ACLS; BSN preferred or pursued within 5 years of hire.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills; hospital IT systems experience preferred.
• BSN preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• 2-3 years Medical-Surgical/Oncology experience.
• Active New Jersey RN License; BLS/ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members; collaborate with care providers.
• Maintain safety and quality through evidence-based practice and ongoing learning.
• Support patients across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology within the float pool.
