RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. This role supports trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics and oncology units within a Magnet-designated academic medical center known for outstanding clinical quality.

Nurses in the float pool demonstrate expertise, flexibility, and teamwork, delivering safe, high-quality care across populations while maintaining strong communication with the patient care team.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• 2-3 years Medical Surgical/Oncology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; New Jersey RN license active.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
