RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. Nurses in the float pool provide extraordinary care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology, demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication.

Night shift, 36 hours/week, with weekend/holiday rotation, at Morris Cancer Center. The unit stresses nursing excellence, Magnet designation history, and a collaborative care environment

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; RN license in NJ.
• 2–3 years of Medical Surgical/Oncology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per the Nurse Practice Act and ANA code of ethics.
• Ensure safety in practice and apply evidence-based practice.
• Report identified safety issues and hazardous conditions.
• Coordinate with the care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Set priorities and evaluate outcomes with measurable improvements.
