Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night-shift position on the medical floor. The unit serves adult patients with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the health team. The role requires a BSN within specified timelines, Montana RN licensure, and BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
