Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on our medical floor. The unit cares for adult patients with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis conditions, with an emphasis on teamwork and high-quality care. Candidates must hold a BSN from an accredited program (or complete within 4 years), Montana RN license, and BLS certification.

A national certification is preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 may be offered.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• National Certification in area of practice (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
