Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time night shift on the medical floor. The unit cares for adults with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients. Nurses will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with other health team members.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years acute care), Montana RN license, and BLS on hire. A national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care.
• Current Montana RN license
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans and document as required.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in team conferences.
