Wellstar Health System is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator (RN) for the Emergency Department in Georgia. This full-time night shift position (7 pm – 7 am) supports efficient patient throughput and high-quality care across triage, ED, and bed management teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with ED physicians and nursing staff, and adherence to policy and safety guidelines to improve patient flow and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• Active RN license is required in GA.
• BLS, ACLS certifications are required; Trauma Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient rights and preferences are respected.
• Provide feedback to ED leadership on performance and safety.
• Monitor patient flow throughout the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate bed management and inter-department communication.
• Lead patient placement decisions to optimize throughput.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
