RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Nurse RN for the Nursing Float Pool at Jersey City Medical Center. The role involves night shifts, comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and coordination with physicians to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

Strong documentation and teamwork are essential to outcomes. Candidates should hold an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ideally a Bachelor's in Nursing, with EPIC EMR experience and telemetry exposure.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; telemetry/medical‑surgical experience helpful
• Experience with EPIC EMR system

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes
• Administer safe, evidence‑based medications and provide hands‑on care
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care
• Educate patients and families to support informed care decisions
• Document accurately in EMR to promote continuity and safety
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive smooth transitions of care
