RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a per diem Night Shift Registered Nurse for Jersey City Medical Center. The role supports Medical Surgical Unit IV with patient‑centered care, education, and collaboration across disciplines. Per diem schedule offers flexible shifts from 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m. and requires a NJ RN license and BLS. Responsibilities include trauma‑informed assessments, safe med administration, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (or multistate with NJ endorsement).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands‑on care per evidence‑based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• Document care in the EMR accurately to support continuity of care.
