RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Jersey City Medical Center. This full-time, night-shift RN position on the Medical-Surgical Unit-I emphasizes comprehensive assessments, safe medication administration, and coordinated care with physicians using EPIC EMR.

Candidates should hold an active NJ RN license, with BLS and ACLS within 6 months. BSN is preferred, and Telemetry/Med-Surg experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

Active NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing.
BLS and ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
BSN strongly preferred; prior Telemetry/Med-Surg experience beneficial.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) like EPIC.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes early.
Administer medications/treatments safely and competently.
Collaborate with physicians and care teams for timely decisions.
Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
Document thoroughly in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in rounds and inter-disciplinary communication.
