RWJBarnabas Health's Jersey City Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services - Bayonne. The role supports patient care on night shift, with a focus on safety, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and advanced providers.

The RN will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, educate patients and families, document in EPIC, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN with prior emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Experience using EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe medications and treatments with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families and ensure informed decisions.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Participate in rounds and support smooth transitions of care.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and education.
