RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Jersey City Medical Center, located in Jersey City, NJ. The RN will work the night shift in Emergency Services, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an active New Jersey RN license, has BLS certification, and brings strong clinical judgment to a fast-paced ed environment. Night shifts and weekends are included as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and detect changes early.
• Administer medications and provide evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to enable informed decision-making.
• Document care accurately in the EMR to ensure safety and continuity.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary plan of care.
