Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, Tennessee, is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift. You will provide direct patient care, support nursing staff, and ensure quality outcomes on the assigned unit.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians. A BSN and active Tennessee RN licensure are required, with ACLS/NRP preferred and BLS within orientation.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree at baccalaureate level required.
• Familiar with the nursing process and patient assessment.
• Basic computer skills may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments using the nursing process and develop care plans.
• Document care in the patient’s chart and monitor other entries for accuracy.
• Coordinate bedside care and supervise nurses during procedures as needed.
• Administer or supervise medications, IV fluids, blood, and blood products.
• Inform physicians of patient status and assist with examinations and rounds.
