Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

The role involves night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) with eligibility for shift differential and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Ideal candidates may have ACLS and critical care interest.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• PALS is required for ER personnel.
• Must meet physical demands (push/pull up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
