Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care under physician orders, consult on therapy effectiveness, and act as an advanced resource for the care team.

The role involves night shifts, 36 hours per week, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved program, current RCP license, NBRC-registered RRT, and ACLS preferred; PALS for ER staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC). For ER coworkers, PALS is required.
• Physical demands: push, pull and grip up to 50 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.
• ACLS (preferred); Critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Serve as advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
