Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional to deliver direct patient care across respiratory therapies. You will assess and adjust treatments, monitor therapy effectiveness, and support life-sustaining equipment in ICU settings.

Experience with ventilators and adherence to Mercy Standards is essential; BLS/NRP/PALS may be obtained after hire. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Current license to practice in the state.
• RRT certification; BLS/NRP/PALS may be obtained on hire.
• Preferred neonatal/pediatric ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory care per orders or protocol.
• Determine therapy effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Provide ventilator support during CPR and maintain life-support equipment in ICU.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy Standards and mission.
