Job summary

Mercy in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care across all respiratory therapy services per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and serve as an advanced resource for both physicians and nursing staff, performing duties as assigned.

The position offers a night shift from 7 pm to 7:30 am with eligible shift differential and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential awarded by NBRC.
• PALS required for ER coworkers.
• ACLS preferred.
• Prefer critical care experience.
• Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.

CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program

RCP license (state licensure)

ACLS (preferred)
