Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor for night shift in Lexington, KY. This role leads hourly teams across blow molded container manufacturing, driving safety, quality, training and cost-efficient operations on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include enforcing GMP policies, training staff, managing performance, and ensuring accurate shift records and CQI. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and related operations experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role in a manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees across all phases of blow molded container manufacturing.
• Enforce safety, quality, GMP policies and company procedures.
• Hire, transfer, suspend and discipline following policy.
• Manage shift training, development, safety, inventory and housekeeping.
• Resolve production and quality issues on the shift and document decisions.
• Prepare shift documentation for compliance and CQI.
• Lead shift meetings and participate in safety meetings.
• Oversee time records and temporary staffing.
• Optimize machine utilization to meet efficiency goals.
• Suggest operational changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist management in reviewing shift operations.
