Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift (7PM-7AM) in a 20-bed facility. The role supports the nursing process under direction of an RN and involves clerical duties and patient care across age groups.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and prior acute care experience or enrollment in a nursing program. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or enrolled in a nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic to advanced indirect and direct patient care under RN direction.
• Take vital signs, perform glucose tests, monitor intake/output, and document results.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility; transport within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize patient rooms and equipment.
