Emerus is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our night shift team at a small-format hospital. The role supports the nursing process under an RN, includes indirect and select direct patient care, and requires strong observation and communication skills.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and CNA experience in acute care. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and efficient unit operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years in an acute care hospital as Nursing Assistant or student in accredited nursing program; preferred in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN direction.
• Assist with daily living activities and routine care; monitor and report patient status.
• Take vitals, assist with meals, transports, and data entry; maintain unit cleanliness and equipment.
