Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks a Nursing Assistant for PRN daytime shifts (7am–7pm) at a 20-bed facility. You will perform essential patient care tasks under supervision, support the nursing team, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, a current BLS, and CNA certification is preferred. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and compassionate care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
• English fluency is required for clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced indirect and direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists with daily activities: bathing, meals, mobility and transportation.
• Delivers safe care by following hospital policies and reporting changes to the nurse.
• Performs data entry and supports unit clerk duties as assigned.
