Job summary

Emerus is hiring a Nursing Assistant for PRN Days at our 20-bed small-format hospital. The role supports nursing care under an RN and performs clerical tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, current BLS, and relates well with diverse patient populations. English fluency is required; prior acute care experience is preferred, and PA Act 33/73 clearances may be required before start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CNA preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selective direct patient care under RN direction.
• Assist with meals, bathing, mobility, and transportation of patients.
• Answer call bells and maintain patient rooms and equipment.
• Support clerical tasks and data entry as assigned.
