Job summary

Emerus is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our night shift team. Under RN supervision, you will provide essential indirect and some direct patient care, support the nursing process, and help ensure patient comfort and safety in a 16-bed, small-format hospital.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and English fluency. Prior CNA experience in acute care is preferred and PA clearances may apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program (preferred for hires in Oklahoma).
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Act 33 / Act 73 clearances may apply for Pennsylvania candidates and must be completed prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with indirect and direct patient care under RN direction within PCA scope.
• Answer call bells, assist with meals, mobility, transfers, and routine hygienic tasks.
• Maintain orderly patient rooms and equipment, document data entries, and support unit operations.
