Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during night shift in a busy acute care unit.

The role emphasizes assisting with activities of daily living, data collection (vital signs, intake/output), and proper use of PPE, while complying with safety protocols.

Candidates should have HS diploma, 0-2 years in acute care or nursing program; BCLS within 90 days; CPCT/CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required or preferred
• CPCT or CNA certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records patient data (vital signs, intake/output, etc.) and reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility with appropriate equipment.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team and follows infection control protocols.
